1st Quarterly Meeting
Date: Sunday, Sept 29 at 5:30 p.m.
Friendship Force of Dubuque will hold its first Quarterly Meeting of 2012 at the Asbury HyVee Community Room on January 29. We can start gathering at 5:30 with the meal to be served at 6:00 pm. The cost per person will be $13 and will include two meats, potato, salad, vegetable, dessert and coffee. Wayne and Barbara Collins will present a program on Canada's prairie provinces for the Quarterly Meeting. Wayne is Canadian, from Saskatchewan. Barbara lived there for 5 years. Both have traveled extensively in Canada. They can provide general information about Canada but will concentrate on the region we will be visiting in June. It will help them prepare if you submit any questions you have about Canada and Alberta. Questions may be sent to Ruth Leick via email or phone with the information above. Please submit questions at least one week before the meeting, by January 22. Come and see. It may help you decide if you will venture to the Medicine Hat, Alberta area in June.
